Marius Hofmeister, M.aster.
Short biography
Marius Hofmeister studied from 2013 to 2017 in the bachelor's program in mechanical engineering with a specialization in design engineering and from 2017 to 2019 in the master's program in development and design at RWTH Aachen University.
Since 2019, Mr. Hofmeister has been working as a research associate at the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Systems at RWTH Aachen University in the Fluids Group.
As part of the Cluster of Excellence "The Fuel Science Center", Mr. Hofmeister is conducting research on the development and evaluation of novel bio-hybrid fuels in collaboration with 28 other RWTH research institutions from a wide range of scientific disciplines. Mr. Hofmeister's research focuses on the investigation of physical material properties of bio-hybrid fuels as well as compatibility with existing automotive systems, which includes compatibility with sealing materials.
In teaching, Mr. Hofmeister is entrusted with the subject Servohydraulics.
