Short biography
Graduated from Edith Cowan University Perth, Western Australia in 2011 as a motorsports engineer. Have since then pursued a journey of discovery across many disciplines. Moved to Finland in 2017 and completed a subsequent Bachelor's degree programme in automotive engineering while working in the automotive and sustainable energy industries. Currently completing a Master's degree programme in mechanical engineering at Aalto University while working as a member of Aalto University's rotating machines research group, ARotor. Future research will include a wear study of the seal investigated in this year's conference presentation, 'Thermal Behaviour of Marine Lip Seals: A Pathway Towards Condition Monitoring.' An additional thermal study of this same seal will also be performed.
